Diamantina: Diamonds are forever Diamantina was almost as I has expected it to be, but for the cars. A bit too many of them -or was was it just time to start getting used to narrow places?- but thank God there was no driving needed to do in the city. The weather was good, as was the hotel, and the place gave the feeling of having come out from the time machine. Naked wires were hanging from the shower, but apart from that, all was cool, if one avoids electrocution. Highlights of the city: Churches, cobbled streets to muscle your thighs, hotel offering cookies and afternoon tea at the ring of a bell. Downsides:Unlucky with food, cobbled streets to muscle your thighs, churches were all closed (Mondays should anyway be abolished from our calendars), had to keep on without a blessing. The Postcards (wait for download, then click on to magnify), or do you prefer the Pics (slideshow)? The pics are a slightly lighter file than the Postcards but may have more content and have comments) Film: Evening in Diamantina Next: Driving to Serro: No network coverage     |
